His research interest is in symbiotic nitrogen fixation in tropical grain legumes and their contribution to sustainable agriculture. Tropical legumes worked on include Bambara groundnut (Vigna subteranea) Soyabean (Glycine max) and cowpea (Vigna unguiculata). Other areas include the Management of legume fallows for the cultivation of maize in the southern zone of Ghana. Production of soilless media and soilless vegetable production including tomato, sweet pepper, lettuce, carrots, onions and herbs. Training in soilless vegetable production for selected farmer groups.
